Ted Halstead is founder, president, and CEO of the Climate Leadership Council, whose mission is to convene global opinion leaders in support of a carbon dividends framework as a climate solution. He previously founded New America, an influential Washington think tank. At age 25, he founded an environmental economics think tank that organized the 1997 Economists’ Statement on Climate Change, signed by 18 Nobel laureates. Halstead is a frequent public speaker and media commentator. He has authored two books, including The Radical Center, as well as articles in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Financial Times, Fortune, The Atlantic, National Review, Los Angeles Times, and Harvard Business Review.
