Terika Richardson is chief operating officer of Ardent Health Services, where she oversees operations and strategic growth of 30 hospitals and over 200 care sites, building consumer-focused regional health networks and scaling clinical and operational best practices across the Ardent system. Richardson previously served as president of Advocate Aurora Health’s Central Chicagoland Patient Service Area. Under her leadership, the organization expanded key service lines and developed innovative programs addressing community health needs. Earlier, she was CEO of Retreat Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, VA, and held leadership roles at HCA and Northwell Health. A fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Richardson has been recognized as one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Minority Executives, among the Top 100 Women Leaders in Medicine of 2021, and one of Crain’s Chicago Business’s 40 Under 40.
