Tlaleng Mofokeng is vice chairperson of the Sexual and Reproductive Justice Coalition in South Africa. A general practitioner with a focus on sexual and reproductive health, she’s a voice for these and related issues in South African media — as a regular guest on radio programs, columnist for the Sunday Times, op-ed writer in publications including the Daily Maverick, and guest on Al Jazeera among other media appearances. A 2018 Aspen New Voices Fellow, Mofokeng was a 2017 delegate of the International Sexual and Reproductive Rights Caucus at the UN 50th Commission on Population Development. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has recognized her as one of 120 Under 40 leaders.
