Tolullah Oni is an associate professor and public health physician epidemiologist at University of Cape Town. She leads the Research Initiative for Cities Health and Equity, researching epidemiological transition in rapidly growing urban environments and developing intersectoral strategies for health creation. Oni is a 2015 Next Einstein Forum fellow, co-chair of the Global Young Academy, and a fellow of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Health and Healthcare. An editorial board member of the Cities and Health journal and Journal of Urban Health, she serves on the scientific committee of the International Council for Science’s Urban Health and Wellbeing program and the Future Earth advisory committee.
