Trenton Allen is CEO and managing director of Sustainable Capital Advisors (SCA), which he founded in 2012. He leads client engagements focused on capital and policy solutions for sustainable infrastructure projects, including inclusive distributed solar, climate resiliency infrastructure, green banks, and community-focused clean energy finance. An investment banking and financial services industry professional who has participated in over $30 billion in financings and led efforts to finance large infrastructure projects, Allen was previously a director with Citi and senior managing consultant at Public Financial Management. He led one of the nation’s first “green bond’ issuances for Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility and the successful launch of AskSustainable, an online hub for climate-friendly financial products. A frequent speaker at energy and finance conferences, he serves on the US Secretary of Energy Advisory Board and the nonprofit boards of CleanEnergyWorks and IREC.
