Trevon Bosley
Student, Chicago Strong
Trevon Bosley is a B.R.A.V.E (Bold Resistence Against Violence Everywhere) Youth Leader who has been involved with the Chicago group for eight years. In 2006, his brother Terrell Bosley was shot and killed while at church for band rehearsal. Overtaken by sadness and anger, Trevon Bosley was unsure of what to do until he was connected with B.R.A.V.E., in which he saw a group of youth similar to him who were tired of Chicago’s gun violence and ready for a change. Since joining the group, he has led protests, rallies, petitions initiatives, and voting campaigns; mentored youth; and spoken with elected officials and celebrities ranging from President Obama to Spike Lee.
