Trymaine Lee

Trymaine Lee is a correspondent for MSNBC and host of the NBC News podcast “Into America,” which demonstrates how policy impacts American lives. He covers social justice issues and the roles of race, violence, politics, and law enforcement. In 2020, Lee launched “The Race Report,” a special MSNBC series that explored the intersection between race and politics during that election season. He was also among the contributors to the New York Times Magazine’s 1619 Project. Prior to joining MSNBC in 2012 as a national reporter, Lee was a reporter at Huffington Post, The New York Times, and The (New Orleans) Times-Picayune. He has earned an Emmy Award and has been on two Pulitzer Prize-winning news teams.
