Vera Papisova is Teen Vogue’s first ever wellness editor, responsible for spearheading coverage of mental and physical health, sexual health, relationships, body image, gender, and more through an intersectional lens. She’s the magazine’s first editor to commission columns focusing on sex education, fat identity, and slut shaming, and she originated its first-ever sexual assault awareness campaign, called #NotYourFault. Papisova also started the “Guys Read” video series, inviting men to read women’s stories on topics such as periods and sexual assault. She was previously a contributor to Teen Vogue, a columnist at Slutever.com, a contributor to Yahoo Style, and an editor’s assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital.
