Vinay Prasad is a hematologist-oncologist and an assistant professor of medicine in the School of Medicine at Oregon Health and Sciences University. He also holds appointments in the university’s Division of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and as a senior scholar at its Center for Ethics in Health Care. Prasad specializes in the care of lymphoma patients and attends on leukemia/lymphoma services. He is known for his research on oncology drugs, health policy, evidence-based medicine, bias, public health, preventive medicine, and medical reversal. Prasad is the co-author of Ending Medical Reversal: Improving Outcomes, Saving Lives, and he has published more than 160 peer-reviewed articles in academic journals.
