Vivian Lee is senior vice president for health sciences and dean of the School of Medicine at University of Utah. She is also CEO of University of Utah Health Care. In this position since 2011, Lee is responsible for an annual budget of $3.3 billion, including a health care system, health plan, and schools of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, health, and dentistry. A radiologist, she focuses her NIH-funded laboratory on quantitative functional MRI. Lee was previously chief scientific officer and senior vice president at NYU’s Langone Medical Center. She was named an Outstanding Teacher by the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine in 2005, 2011, and 2012.
