Wendy Kopp is CEO and co-founder of Teach For All, a global network of independent organizations that work to expand educational opportunities. In 1989, she founded Teach For America, a national teaching corps that has since then enlisted nearly 60,000 recent college graduates to teach for two years in low-income communities. Kopp left Teach For America after 24 years but remains an active board member. She launched Teach For All in 2007 in response to demand from social entrepreneurs who wanted to adapt a similar approach in their own countries. Teach For All currently has partner organizations in 49 countries on six continents.
