Wes Moore is the 63rd governor of Maryland. He is the first Black governor in the state’s 246-year history and the third African American elected governor in the history of the United States. Prior to this, Moore was CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation anti-poverty organization. Previously, he was the founder and CEO of BridgeEdU, reinventing freshman year of college for underserved students to increase their likelihood of long-term success. An Army combat veteran, he also founded Omari Productions and produced the series “Coming Back with Wes Moore” and documentary “All the Difference” for PBS. Early in his career, Moore worked in finance with Deutsche Bank and Citigroup. The author of “The Other Wes Moore” and “The Work,” his latest is “Five Days.”
