William Gerson is a general pediatrician and the managing partner of Pediatric Medicine, a private practice in South Burlington, VT. He teaches medical students and residents as a clinical professor of pediatrics at University of Vermont College of Medicine, and for the last 25 years, he has directed the Vermont Summer Pediatric Seminar. Until 1989, Gerson led the cystic fibrosis clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics and a featured columnist in the journal Infectious Diseases of Children, where his column, Everyday Pediatrics, touches on the underlying values of the practice of pediatrics in the changing world of American medicine.
