Yani Pineda
Sustainability Manager, City of Miami Beach
Yani Pineda is sustainability manager for the City of Miami Beach, where she spearheads community-wide sustainability, climate resilience, and ESG programs and policy. She also lead the city’s first climate action plan, which guides the community to reach its goal of net zero emissions by 2050. An environment and sustainability professional with over 10 years of experience, Pineda has worked in sustainability roles for Miami Beach since 2014. Before that, she was an engineering coordinator for Miami Beach Convention Center. An MBA candidate at Florida International University, Pineda is a certified Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate and board member of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Environmental and Water Resources Institute.
