Yuliya Tychkivska is executive director of Aspen Institute Kyiv. A civic activist in Ukraine, she helped found the Bendukidze Free Market Centre, a Ukrainian think tank, and Open University of Maidan, an online platform for civics education. Tychkivska was previously a vice president at Kyiv School of Economics and head of the advisory group for the Ukrainian minister of economic development and trade. A graduate of Atlas Leadership Academy, she has a master’s degree in economics from National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Tychkivska was the 2017 curator of World Economic Forum’s The Global Shapers Kyiv Hub and has been named to Forbes’s 30 Under 30 Europe, Kyiv Post’s Top 30 Under 30, and Novoye Vremya magazine’s 100 Most Successful Women in Ukraine.
