Zeynep Ton is a Professor of the Practiceat MIT Sloan School of Management and president of the nonprofit Good Jobs Institute. Her research focuses on how companies can profitably transform low-wage jobs into good jobs with living wages and humane working conditions and has appeared in Organization Science, Production and Operations Management, and Harvard Business Review, among others. Ton is the author of The Good Jobs Strategy: How the Smartest Companies Invest in Employees to Lower Costs and Boost Profits. She has been named one of the World’s 40 Best Business School Professors Under the Age of 40 by Poets & Quants and featured on CNNMoney as one of eight young business school professors on the rise.
