Ethan Brown is the founder, president and CEO of Beyond Meat, dedicated to plant-based meat substitutes to address health, climate, natural resource and animal welfare challenges. The firm’s Beyond Burger was the first plant-based burger sold in grocery chains and is available at fast food restaurants and is recognized by American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association health programs. Earlier in his career, Brown worked on open-grid electricity restructuring and at Ballard Power Systems. He is a board member of American Cancer Society’s CEO’s Against Cancer and a 2017 Henry Crown fellow within the Aspen Institute’s Aspen Global Leadership Network.
