Harold Koplewicz is founding president of the nonprofit Child Mind Institute. A leading child and adolescent psychiatrist, he established the New York University Child Study Center in 1997 and was its director until 2009. He also directed the Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research from 2006 to 2011. Koplewicz is editor in chief of the Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychopharmacology and author of several books, including It’s Nobody’s Fault: New Hope and Help for Difficult Children and their Parents, which received the Parent’s Choice Award, and, most recently, More Than Moody: Recognizing and Treating Adolescent Depression. He was named one of WebMD’s 2014 Health Heroes.
