Musimbi Kanyoro is president and CEO of Global Fund for Women. An advocate for women’s and girls’ health and human rights and social change philanthropy, her three decades of experience includes directing the Population and Reproductive Health Program of the David and Lucille Packard Foundation and serving as executive secretary for women in church and society at the Lutheran World Federation. A public speaker, Kanyoro has also authored numerous articles and written or co-edited seven books. She serves on the CARE board, UN Women Civil Society Advisory Board, UN High Level Taskforce for Reproductive Health, Aspen Leaders Council, and World Bank Group’s Advisory Council on Gender and Development.
