The New Work(Force)
Setup
In the third year of a global pandemic, many American workers have a new relationship with their work. Whether they are navigating new working models, striving for better work-life balance, or feeling anxious about their financial resiliency amid rising inflation and economic uncertainty — work looks and feels different than it did in 2020. Employers, meanwhile, face a number of new challenges, from recruiting and retaining talent to fostering a sense of meaning and connection among a workforce that reports feeling burned out and isolated. This session will explore these questions: What have we learned from the pandemic about the future of work? What are the most important investments employers can make to foster durable careers and workers’ financial resiliency, while also supporting the bottom line?
