John Dickerson is a correspondent for "60 Minutes." He joined CBS News in 2009 and previously anchored “CBS This Morning" and "Face The Nation,” was chief Washington correspondent, political director, and an analyst and contributor. During the 2016 presidential campaign, he moderated two presidential debates. A Washington reporter since 1995, Dickerson was Slate Magazine’s chief political correspondent for ten years, winning the Ford Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency. Prior to that, he covered politics for twelve years for TIME magazine. Dickerson is also a contributing editor to The Atlantic, co-host of Slate’s “Political Gabfest” podcast, and host of the “Whistlestop” podcast. He is the author of On Her Trail and the best-seller Whistlestop.
